Prism Awards

The Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America recognizes exceptional public relations programs and the skills of the state’s practitioners, companies and organizations at the annual Prism Awards. The competition is open to members and nonmembers of this chapter. This year ALL entries will be submitted and judged online.

This year’s Prism Award ceremony will be held Thursday, September 18 at the Ron Robinson Theater in downtown Little Rock.  We will be celebrating our chapter’s 50th anniversary, so it is sure to be an exciting, memorable night!

Arkansas Chapter of PRSA Announces 2014 Prism Award Winners
Mangan Holcomb Partners Wins Best of Show

Little Rock communications agency Mangan Holcomb Partners won the Best of Show Award presented by the Arkansas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) during the chapter’s annual Prism Awards Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Central Arkansas Library System’s Ron Robinson Theater. The awards highlighted the chapter’s 50th anniversary with remarks from past presidents Ben Combs, APR, and Bob Sells, APR.

“What better way to highlight 50 years of a professional public relations association in our community than with the annual Prisms Awards, where the best communications work among our state’s industries is showcased and celebrated,” said Eileen Denne, APR, chapter president. “We are so fortunate to have such talented professionals behind some of Arkansas’ top communications campaigns.

Mangan Holcomb Partners won for the 2013 Great Arkansas Cleanup community relations campaign, which included 135 events and the cleanup of 4,000 parks and public areas and 1,200 miles of roadway and shoreline.

Public relations campaigns and tactics for retailers, government agencies and nonprofits were recognized in 32 categories, ranging from Community Relations and Public Affairs to Multi-Media and Websites. Public relations professionals from the Fort Worth chapter of PRSA judged the entries.

Top Prism winners were Eric Rob & Isaac with 14 awards and Mangan Holcomb Partners with 10.
