Diversity & Inclusion: Driving Success Culture
Senior Director of Multicultural Initiatives, ESPN
August is PRSA Diversity & Inclusion Month. At this month’s chapter meeting, D&I consultant Hugo Balta will discuss why diversity and inclusion is not just the morally right thing to do, but the right business thing to do. On the eve of the 2020 U.S. Census, it is imperative that practitioners be culturally fluent in multicultural America.
Guests will learn about reframing diversity and inclusion as an opportunity to be realized and not a problem to be solved in the workplace, how inherent and acquired diversity is inclusive of the entire workforce and how bad optics can quickly turn into malpractice in the marketplace.
We thank Culturally Connected Communications for being the speaker sponsor for our August meeting.
