11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Most businesses and organizations, whether large or small, never believe they will face a major crisis that requires a crisis communications response. But nothing can be further from the truth. A public relations crisis can happen at any time, becoming a spiraling crisis especially if a company has no plan on how to respond.

Join us this month as David E. Johnson, CEO and founder of Strategic Vision PR Group presents an analysis of how the McDonald’s corporation implemented its crisis communications plan to avoid what could have been a national embarrassment when their former CEO was released–with a $40 million package– for having internal relationship with a staff member. There’s more! The crisis escalated when a “whistle blower” let it be known that there were far more lustful activities going on than initially thought. David will share how crisis communications planning, company values and strategies were used to manage the crisis and avoid an all-out hot mess in public and in the media.

David E. Johnson is the CEO and founder of Strategic Vision PR Group, based in Atlanta, that specializes in public relations management and crisis communications for businesses, authors and celebrities.
