Celebrate the season and enjoy casual networking and libations with your fellow PRSA Arkansas chapter members at our annual holiday party on Friday, December 21 at 11:45 a.m.
To spread some holiday cheer, our chapter is accepting donations for Children’s Advocacy Alliance, an independent nonprofit serving abused and neglected children in north-central Arkansas. Please bring a new toy, book, blanket, or other accessory (such as a hat or necklace) for CAA’s “Wall of Hope” service project.
As one of the most experienced utility public relations information officers in the country, Sandy Alstadt has led communications teams who have dealt with the devastating aftermath of numerous national disasters. Alstadt will share her top lessons learned over the past 20-plus years and discuss how dealing with crisis events has changed.
August is PRSA Diversity & Inclusion Month. At this month’s chapter meeting, D&I consultant Hugo Balta will discuss why diversity and inclusion is not just the morally right thing to do, but the right business thing to do. On the eve of the 2020 U.S. Census, it is imperative that practitioners be culturally fluent in multicultural America.
