Join us Friday, Feb. 17 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with Brian Rodgers, historian and community liaison at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. Mosaic Templars is Arkansas’s museum of African American history and culture. Rodgers is responsible for leading museum tours, media interviews, conducting research, exhibits and adult programming development. 

We look forward to seeing you for this special program during Black History Month to learn more about this historic Little Rock museum.

 

About Brian Rodgers

Brian has a passion for sharing the rich history of the African American community in Arkansas. Rodgers received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in history from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and specializes in African American institutions in Arkansas from 1868-1920, the interconnection between church and politics in the African American community, as well as Emancipation Day celebrations. He has been at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center for more than seven years.
