The Arkansas PRSA Chapter invites all those interested in celebrating the state’s top public relations achievements to attend.

This year’s event will be emceed by Heather Baker, president and publisher of AY Media Group.

The Prism Awards honor outstanding work across various categories, from public service and media relations to social media influencers and multicultural PR. This year, the competition was open to all PR practitioners in Arkansas, whether they are members of PRSA or not. A total of 56 entries were submitted, demonstrating the creativity and strategic thinking present in the state’s PR community.

Reciprocal judging, a hallmark of the Prism Awards, ensures impartial evaluation of entries. This year’s submissions were judged by the PRSA of San Antonio, whose members generously lent their time and expertise to the process. The Arkansas Chapter is deeply grateful for their contributions.

In addition to the category awards, the evening will feature the presentation of the prestigious Crystal Award. Established in 1978 by the Arkansas PRSA Past President’s Council, the Crystal Award is the chapter’s highest honor, recognizing an Arkansas PRSA member who has made significant and continuous contributions to the profession and the chapter throughout their career. This year’s recipient is Lisa Van Hook, M.A., APR, of The Communications Group, whose exemplary service and leadership have left an indelible mark on the Arkansas PR community.
