October Meeting in Hot Springs
We are taking the Arkansas Chapter PRSA monthly meeting on the road to Hot Springs! Join us on Oct. 18 at Oaklawn Casino Resort (in the DeGray Room) from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Our guest Speaker will be Bill Solleder, Director of Marketing at Visit Hot Springs, who will share a presentation on “Marketing Arkansas's #1 Vacation Destination, Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas.”
Please invite communicators in the Hot Springs area and SW Arkansas who might not have the opportunity to attend a meeting in Little Rock.

The 2024 Prisms
The 2024 Prisms event will be held Thursday, Sept. 19. The reception begins at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Watch for an invitation arriving soon, and order your tickets now here.

We're shaking things up this month with a BREAKFAST meeting! Mark your calendar for Friday, Aug. 16 at 8 a.m., at Red & Blue Event Venue.
We'll hear from Rex Nelson, senior editor and columnist for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and also an American college sports broadcaster, columnist, reporter, author, political appointee and chronicler of Arkansas history.
Nelson will share his thoughts on how media has changed over the years and the continued art of storytelling.

We are shaking things up this month with a “Happy Hour” meeting! Mark your calendar for “Happy Hour and Headshots,” THURSDAY, July 18. Join us for a fun and relaxing happy hour and appetizers from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Arkansas State University System building, 501 Woodlane Drive, Suite 600, Little Rock, AR 72201. Get to know your PRSA colleagues and make new connections. You’ll get the chance to introduce yourself and let us know what you’re up to. It’s a great way to unwind after a long day.
